JIM;

What you are looking for is MARX set #2878. It is battery powered (one D) and was made of polyethylene a soft flexable-unbreakable plastic. It ran on #1gauge two rail plastic track. It consisted of a black 0-4-0 (with simulated front truck) loco with ballon stack, a black four wheel tender, a yellow four wheel gondola and a red baywindow caboose. I have seen two of them on eBay in the last year and I believe they both sold for under $100.00. This train was made from 1959 until 1962.

I do have one in my own collection, but it is not for sale.

Hope this helps,
Bryan (MARXMAN)
