I suggest you post your question on the Model Railroader forum. This forum is used by folks who run much larger trains than N.

You can't go wrong with MRC packs.
I use a MRC Railpower 1370 for my N scale stuff and it works great.

hi all, i hope some one can help, i am new to n scale trains and i was wondering want is the "best to last" on the power packs. it just seems like there is the whole bunch out there to choose from, some seem very confusing.
