Nope, although I'd like to one day. Right now it's too far, too expensive to travel, and I'm not a TCA member (yet!).

Chris,

I need better info than drooling - that describes most people there.

dt,

Lots of places to stay in the area, within 15 minute drive. We stay in New Cumberland on the south side of Harrisburg (lots cheaper). Only York fills up months in advance.

Laz - I will be at Toy Trains Unlimted, hopefully in the Orange, but possibly in the Purple.

Regards, Roy

I'd like to go so I could check out some of the stuff that TAS is putting TMCC into. You could really have some fun with maint type vehicles working around trains if all were TMCC controlled. [:D]

I'll be there Saturday morning at 9:00. Anyone that is going don't forget to checkout the hotel meets that will be going on from Wednesday till Saturday you get some good buys there. It is free and are located in most of the bigger hotel, motels around York, they have them in the lobbies and out in the parking lots.

We were going to be there but too many nephews getting married in May & June so there goes our travel $$. Wouldn't it be nice to have a "meet" of this caliber be more centerally located? Sure, the sponsoring group is from the eastern area but the distance factor for the rest of us weighs heavily on our ability to attend.

Chris, be sure to give us your honest opinion and please don't sugar coat it. Give us the plusses and minuses. We really do want to attend, I've made plans twice and there's been something come up both times, maybe the third time will be a charm.

Not this time. Frankly, since being laid off twice in the last 5 years, my income hasn't yet hit what it used to be so my days of bringing and spending a big wad at York are over - at least for now. Plus, I don't have the room for a lot of new stuff like I used to as well!

York is Friday and Satuerday, the 29th and 30th of April... Must be a TCA member to go, or be a guest of one.

'Tis better to remain silent, and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt. I asked this before on another thread, you guys probably thought I was kidding, but I am not a TCA member, I subscribed to CTT but haven't gotten my first issue, and I am wildly curious: //// when is YORK?
