Heck no.

Railroad sims are nice, but it won't take the place of building a layout.

If you ask me.

I was at someones home the night before & he had on his computer a simulation of an actual freight train that was made up in a yard, set out on the open main,& than droped off,set out cars, as it set off to it's destination. This thing had it all. Locomotive sounds,.breaks, horn.couplers banging, air hoses disconnecting,I mean the whole 9 1/2 yrds. Is this the next generation of modelrailroading, without the models? Are we the last generation of actual hands on stuff? Any thoughts????
