This is thread was not specifically about passenger stock, but maybe it will be of some interest...

Roger Carp wrote a two-part article on AMT in the September and November 1994 issues of CTT. In a sidebar, he noted, "For further information about American Model Toys, consult the first chapter of Greenberg's Guide to Kusan Trains". Kusan bought AMT (then called Auburn Model Trains). This book is out of print, but I noticed one is available on Amazon.

American Model Toys

I have several aluminum, streamlined American Model Toys passenger cars from the early 1950s. I am in the process of cleaning them up and getting them back in operational shape. I have had a hard time finding information on AMT, beyond some information published in All Star Electric Trains. Does anybody know where else you can get info on AMT?

Thanks.
