Got mine too Santa Fe. I especially liked the article on the Lionel showroom display layouts. Reminds me of childhood trips to the department store at Christmastime when I was but a wee lad. The article shows you don't have to have a super-detailed Hi-Rail set up to have an enjoyable layout. Quite a bit of realism can be obtained with simple, easy-to-use scenery making materials like the ones used on most of those display layouts. Many of us set our goals for scenery on a layout so high that we never quite get around to actually building anything. I think the article is great in that many will get inspired to the point of diving in and building an operating layout.
