...and here it is via Villagephotos...(from your test attempts, it looks like you used the incorrect brackets...should be "[ " and not "<"...)

wow! Wonder why I couldn't? Would be interesting to see what code you input.

OK, I fixed it and input photo above. Thanks!

BB says thanks!

She's looking forward to summertime when the nightcrawlers come out of their holes. She stalks them and then pounces. Eats so many that sometimes she can't finish her yucky dog chow.

She always saves the last night crawler for last fun, which is strategically placing it on the patio and then rolling around on it.

Jim,

The photo itself is not important. I can email it to myself at home and upload via the PC to place on CTT. However, I'm trying to figure out the Village Photo coding that CTT accepts. That's my real goal right now, but I don't wi***o take up everyone's time trying.

Much thanks, tho

You can choose "Image Size" and keep it 640 wide, but when you save it, choose a "small" file size of 2, or a "medium" file size of 3. You'll be fine as long as your file size is less than 100 KB for VilllagePhotos...

...fingers crossed...

I edit w/Photoshop, I'll try bringing it down even further but 400X200 pixels is pretty tiny.

Jim,
part of that comes from the setting on your camera of depth of color, good, better,or best (on some)

this pic is set at 650 x what ever and is about 237K

If I change the depth of it, most likely it would be smaller.

Tom - that's why I'm also confused - Villagephotos takes mine @ 640X480 yet won't take his @ 400X200. For free accounts you have to keep file size less than 100 KB. Photoshop lets me choose the file size regardless of the image "size"...that's why I asked about his editing software...

Jim, I believe what Dave is saying, his picture is 400 x 200 pixels. The pic you posted is 640 x 480.

Dave, check the file size after you redued your pic.

BTW, that is why I like Shutterfly.

Dave - are you a member of the MTH RRC [?]

Dave - a 400K .jpg image is HUGE! What image editing software are you using???

The one below is less than 100K...click it and it will open up to about as big as you would want it to on the forum.

A couple of you suggested Village Photos because I cannot right click on the photo properties to get the coding.

I just signed up and the Village photo upload states my photo is too large to upload.

So, I decreased the size of it to about 400K (400 pixels wide and about 200 high at 72 ppi (dpi).

Still too large, said the Village photos program! I even changed the photo file name.

Something's fishy here.

Never had that problem with Shutterfly and tripod.

Guess I'll just go back to posting images from my PC at home.
