Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, February 5, 2005 6:42 PM
Can I hook up my new DCS to my existing TMCC?

Can I run both?

Thanks,

Do I connect the DCS to any lock on on my track? (even to a lock on that the TMCC is connected to?)

crahol,

Yes, you can connect DCS to the same lock-on that your TMCC antenna wire (from the Command Base) is connected to.

No problem!

Since our demo layout is quite large, with a lot of lock-ons, our TMCC connection is on the input side of the TIU. We are running four phased transformers (one per TIIU Channel), with the commons (black terminals) tied together. The TMCC connection is made where the commons are tied together. The TMCC and DCS signals are on all four outputs, all the time this way.
