The mustard oil does nothng for adhesion, it's to discourage glue sniffing. Have you looked a Testers or any of the other styrene compatible glues. Most building kits are made of styrene. Like wise any of the paints for model kits would probably work, i.e. enamels. Any decent hobby shop should be able to recommend a glue and paint.

Need Help Bachman Syrene Painting Fluid and Glue
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 6:21 PM
Hello Everyone,

I have a Bachman Plasticville Citizen's Set with Paint no. 1915 and need to locate where I can find more bottles of the Bachman Styrene Painting Fluid and Glue. The contents is Trichloroethan, plus 1/4 % oil of mustard. Does anyone know where I can get more of this or is there a substitute solution that will work. Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you, N. Sell
