So a while back I got a 1995-1996 mth railking dash 8 santa Fe 560 diesel that apparently has just the horn, but looking ip the instruction manual it could have been optionally had protosound 1, and upon looking up mth protosound 1 engines on google a thread from o gauge forum, mentions about it can be converted to tmcc with the right circuit board by digital dynamics that is hard to find but they don't mention the exact name of the board or if anything else needs to be added to fully convert the engine to tmcc other than taking out the old board and plugging in the tmcc board.
Anyone have any experience with this as if it is possible to convert my mth dash 8 560 santa Fe engine to tmcc I can use it then with my tmcc cab1 and base1 and avoid buying another engine taking up more storage. I also open to what other possible options there are for my mth engine to be converted to Tmcc.
