Yeah, it's a select group of fanatics that celebrate this, but it's also about the time of year when the Christmas craft bug bites me. Naturally, those crafts center around my Lionel trains and research begins for new ideas.

I'm sure you've seen some of these photos before, but maybe inspiration will strike you and you'll end up building something you didn't expect! Enjoy! My favorite is the Keen family layout by the way. Merry Christmas!
Same me, different spelling!
Thanks for that "Christmas in July" spread Becky! I sure could use it, it's been an INFERNO down here in Virginia! Temps in the high 90's and hitting 100 some days. I've barely gotten anything done in the Chugger Barn lately, even with four fans going it's still too much!
I've been sleeping on my futon in the dining room because my air conditioner only works within 8 feet of itself when it's hot hot outside.
Actually I'm sitting in front of it right now because I just got done using public transportation for my doctor's appointment. It's in the high 80's but being on the north shore downwind of the Canadian plains has it's advantages. Namely strong north westerly lake breezes.
Before all the chaos of moving and a new employer, I had envisioned a "Christmas in July" theme online. I was only able to get one article ready: https://www.trains.com/ctt/how-to/toy-train-layouts/the-louise-express-christmas-layout/

Wow! Thanks for passing that article along Rene! That's one spectacular Christmas layout and I'm really intrigued by that custom-painted Christmas train. The locomotive is a Post-War 2035 I'm guessing? A VERY clever and tasteful repaint!
Thanks again!
