Always enjoy seeing the "Chessie Central", aka Fife's house!
Same me, different spelling!
Nice! It's always good to see classic Post-Wars finding good homes!
My Lionel PW collection continued to grow during the past year. One of our Chapter members gave me his childhood trains (as he had just sold his house), and this 624 was part of that lot.
It was in overall good appearance, but was not in operating condition when I received it. Did some basic maintainance, and replaced the E-unit barrel and fingers, seems to be locked in reverse, but runs smoothly.
It seems right at home on the inner-loop, and certainly doesn't mind the O-27 hidden curves. Replacement E-unit already purchased, just waiting for a snowy day...
