Boo y'all! Here's this year's Spooky Special. New additions this year are the Lionel flashing pumpkin flat car, and the Dept 56 Frankenstein water tower.
I added a strand of LED spider lights to the water tower.

It's transition season. . Time to let the snow flakes fly
Here goes nothing hot dog
Now that's one of the best-looking Carpet Central RR layout's I've ever seen!
Thanks!
My neighbor's daughter and I got the tree about half decorated this evening. I also did some work on the wiring of the accessories earlier today. The KW just couldn't handle all the lamps and accessory motors along with the O Gauge train. So I took the 125 whistle shack, 394 rotary beacon, Esso gas station, aircraft pylon and rotating radar tower off of the 14 volt grid and connected them instead to the 16 volt taps on my Type R transformer. Now they run better and hopefully my street lamps and house lights will be brighter. (I had brighter lights on the left side of the layout previously.)
Lots to do before Thanksgiving!
Becky - your neighbor's daughter is learning from one of the best.
Looking great! Gonna be fantastic!
