Can anyone tell me how to adjust the steam turbine sound volume on a Lionel 1991 PRR S2 steam turbine? I like the turbine hiss effect, but it seems to have only two volume settings: Off and Loud Blast! Is it even adjustable at all?
Well, just in case there's anyone else out there who's wondering the same thing, I can now tell you the secret: Almost hidden beneath the tender drawbar is a silver screw that looks as if it's holding something together.
It isn't. That's the volume-control screw. Counterclockwise lowers the volume.
