One more British layout...

I've never seen anything like this before...

This is a complete system of Hornby Dublo CLOCKWORK OO gauge trains. These were only built between 1938 and 1940, along with three rail electric trains. The electric trains continued to be built from about 1949 (and I had a layout of my own).

Despite the small scale, these are clearly toy trains and would probably be more appreciated here...

I note that they have had to use three rail electric switches, in a couple of locations, presumably due to the shortage of clockwork switches.

Paisley has another similar video:

The exhibition is from 12:53 to 30:11.

It includes shots of full size locomotives in the Shildon Museum.

This appears to be a different report on the exhibition I first posted:

The Train Collectors Society, Bassett-Lowke Society & Trix Collectors Association - Exhibition 2023 - YouTube

Unfortunately this report doesn't have closed captions, and I find the presenter hard to understand (but that might just be me...)

A Visit to a British Vintage Model Train Show

I found this video on Youtube:

A visit to Vintage Model Train Show and new items for the collection - YouTube

While much of the video covers the creator's own British OO gauge layout covering Hornby and TriAng models (with their own incompatible tracks), the train show section (starting at 9min 40 sec) has a lot of interesting trains. The Marx trains, including British O gauge streamlined trains from Marx are very interesting. There are American Flyer items towards the end of the show section.
