Straight from my workbench (Bar) to the layout, is the newly refurbished B&O Queen City Hotel/Station. It was scratchbuilt of cardstock many decades ago, was collapsing into itself, and was bound for the dumpster when I saved it. I gave it a new roof and cupola, and truncated the front porch to fit its narrow 3 inch wide "shelf". I'd say it is slightly bigger than HO scale, and looks ok behind the S scale train in the background.
