Smoke Scent
Posted by traindaddy1 on Thursday, June 29, 2023 1:16 PM

Hello:

Well, I finally ran out of my old Lionel Smoke fluid. A lot of information "out there"! (JT Mega Smoke, Lionel, MHT etc.)

Never thought about it but there seems to be a "ton" of available scents.

Being originally from New York, I can only remember the Subway scents and they were definitely not from coal burning engines.

So I ask: Based on your experience, which scent would you consider as being a "true-to-life" scent coming from a coal burning steam engine?

My concern is not the pleasantry but the authenticity.

As always, many thanks.

Rob: Looks like you "nailed it". Thanks.

I use this also on occasion.  Strong scent but authentic.
