Build a roller test base for your engines!

MartyE just posted a video on building a bench top roller base for testing/servicing your engines and powered rolling stock. I've been after him to do this for a bit. Please check it out.

I watched Marty E's YouTube video and made my own test stand utilizing the Micromark rollers. One modification that I made to his design was the addition of two steel strips to guide the pilot truck support .I have to run wires from the tender support to the roller track.

I used heavy gauge copper wire to connect the tender support to the power track Here is a YouTube video of it in operation..https://youtu.be/Bag47sZP06I?si=ZDGeCPL-BvS0UkHN
