The pier supports to my upper level were secured by screws on the inner side and weee quite secure However several guys on my Face Book Lionel groups were upset at the lack of a support on the outer edge So I used my coping saw to cut supports secured to the underside with metal plates .Looks better now .
I would probably (because I'm a smart #$$ ) would of replied well it's my railroad and I'm happy the way it is,
Well I kind of saw their point from a visual standpoint. In any case it was quick and easy.
Negative pier feedback from your peers?
Where's the face smacking emoji when you need it
Same me, different spelling!
I agree with smokey1. You are the owner of the railroad. I assume that you don't report to a board of directors, or stock holders. So, if you are happy, tough nuggies to others who are nit picking you.
Nice work on your fix, and it does look a bit better.
Did I succom to "Pier Pressure"lol?

Ask the surfers!
