Hey Flint,have you ever heard of CO2 racers?

I've kinda-sorta heard of them.  My brother tried to scratchbuild one and got as far as completing the car, but couldn't figure out how to come up with a reliable way of puncturing the CO2 cylinder.

He DID build a stationary steam turbine engine for a school science project although Dad had to help quite a bit with the soldering and metal work.

My daughter made this wooden CO2 racer in High School and I painted it.Ever hear of them?I guess they have a spring loaded device that pierces the cartridge to impart propulsion.Nit sure how fast they would be.
