Hello loserafterlife. The only commuter rail i've heard about thats proposed to be built is a commuter line from Scranton to Hoboken,N.J. over the Lackawanna pass & through the Delaware water Gap.There's a few more hurdles to go through such as securing funding.But, in a few years it should happen.....Keith

If it's anything like down here in Ga the politicos will talk it to death for years before they make a decision, or it'll just fade away. The big block, initially, was that CSX didn't want to share their freight tracks from Athens to Atlanta, this is one of their heaviest used lines in the south. Now that that problem is resolved the pols use funding as the excuse.

does anyone know if the commuter train line that has been proposed in harrisburg, lancaster, carlisle, lebanon and york pa is really going to be built?
