Late to the party. I can't post pics since I don't have a photo archive online, but I got a Flye Sesquicentennial Special + the add-on observation car, all in C6 condition. A neat point is that the America Pullman car has Pleasant View--the name of the Observation--on one side. I nifty factory error in the litho.
I also got a No 20 Crossing, a No 69 Crossing Bell (C7+, maybe C8), a No 77 Crossing Gate (green, no light, a variation I didn't have, antoehr C7+), and an No 81 Rheostat.
I like your new moniker!
Same me, different spelling!
My family's jewish... not much in the way of train goodies, but there was a fabulous new soldering iron on night #7 which I've been putting to good work. I also got a lovely WW&F shirt. My birthday rolls around late december as well, and a very good friend of mine has promised me a gift in the form of a boxed Lionel 6-19211 VRS boxcar. I rode an excursion train on the VRS/Green Mountain when I was a kid, so there's some real sentimental value to me.-Ellie
Santa brought me a Lionel #6-36562 US Army Work Caboose this time. My #41 US Army turbine Switcher that Santa also brought me in 1957 Had gone without a matching caboose for far too many years!
Kev I love Williams engines especially once you wire them in series. I have two that have the old electronics in them, where they have engine sounds, tower announcements, and crew talk ( very minor like you're clear to go and roger that. ) a GG1, and a Southern FM Trainmaster.
But I'm starting to get into Standard gauge trains, I have bought two different 390Es one is a Lionel Classics remake )uncataloged from 1988) and the other is from 1929 - 1931 I have 1766, 1767, & 1768 Red passenger cars. So right now thinking of changing my table ( since I haven't really put anything down permanent ) to 3' wide around the room and putting Standard gauge then my G scale if I find the room I will squeeze that in a little and do a loop of O gauge first or do an elevated O gauge layout above that. But here is my prewar standard gauge engine.
Two of my bridges are in the background, and I have 4 ramps to go with them also.
KRM - Sweet addition, Kev.. Bet that thing is pulling under 8 volts without a hiccup.
My Christmas Williams GP38 # 4700 came today, Lubed, and rewired it to series like I do all my Williams diesels to slow it down and it runs great!!

Kev, From The North Bluff Above Marseilles IL.
Post up a pic of the engine and perhaps a video of it running if you can!
I got a very nice gift from Santa to complete my collection of trains from the 1950 Lionel Catalog.
I got the Hudson 776 in excellent shape with of course the proper tender.
Also got the newer Madison heavyweight pass cars legends series.
Together they make a fine train running down the tracks!!
No trains BUT we got new walls. Hurricane Ian flooded our home and a great deal of the wallboard had to be removed and replaced. Luckily, the layout survived. Overall, we fared better than a lot of our fellow Floridians and are sincerely grateful. Looking forward to a better 2023 and wishing all a very Happy New Year.
Well I didn't get anything in the way of trains but Lady Firestorm gave me a fine assortment of things to nosh on as stocking stuffers.
Lemme see, Double Stuf Nutter Butters, Archway Windmill cookies, Slim Jims, Ferrero Rochers, Planters nuts, and Altoid Cinnimon Mints.
My needs are simple, I'm well satisfied!
RT I Love the B&M colors,
Nice Fife! CP rail is nice as is the rolling stock.
The 5 year old grandson received his first Lionel O-gauge Train Set from Pops and Grandmom.
You can spot the oldest grandson's Army flat with speedboat within the consist.
The oldest Princess's bunch gave me a twin set of AF B&O hoppers.
Middle Princess's clan gave me this swell Lionel July 4th Fireworks car (sounds and lights).
And my buddy Tom gave this MTH BLE Bicentennial hopper.
All G scale but here is what I got. The Passenger cars are not the best pics and I need to get up on the table as they are not all connected, ( my bust thought they were)
Kinda blocked but it's a combo car
And now a B&M caboose and boxcar also in G
