i am looking for an o scale cf7(preferable ma and pa or york rail). where might i be able to find one?

Welcome to the forum.

You wont find one in those road names, Nor any other since none has be made in O guage.

Lostferlife, are you referring to the diesels that Santa Fe rebuilt into road switchers from wrecked F-units? If so, my reaction is "ah yes, the original Beeps." (As I recall MR did an article on the CF7 years ago and dubbed them "Beeps.") At that time I was living in Northern Virginia and I remember seeing one of them on SRR's property, still in blue warbonnet colors. I asked a railroad employee if I was seeing correctly and he confirmed that's what it was. I like 'em - they're cute in a homely sort of way. If someone ever makes one in O gauge I'll probably buy it.

Yes, CF7's were built from Santa Fe Funits. Not always the wrecked ones, Just older units and such. Funits needed to be run in At least A-A pairs for running to the other end of the train, as you cannot sit backwards in the seat and look out the long hood, as you can on a CF7.
