Just bumping this up to the head of the line as a reminder, although I'm sure there's a lot who don't need it. Comin' up this weekend!
By the way, final count is 80 tables, and all sold out!
Supposedly there's an exhibitor who rented 10! This I've gotta see!
"Touristy" is probably the politically correct term.
Same me, different spelling!
This is for anyone who'd like a look at the River City 3-Railers facility.

fifedogIf your an ACW junkie, Antietam Battlefied is just south of this show.
I've been to the Antietam Battlefield, VERY interesting to see and not quite as "commercial," if that's the right term, as Gettysburg is.
Washington County Ag Center - Sharpsburg, MD
Saturday Nov. 26 9am-130pm.
I intend to be there. Great show earlier this year.

I'll be there!
We also have the NMRA CID division fall show in Danvile Indiana on the 19th of November. That show has grown to 2 large rooms, there will be layouts and our live steam group will have our G scale/gauge 1 protable set up running
Leverettrailfanmy favorite treasures are the 'projects' that you sometimes can find in boxes and trays under the tables where the cream of the crop is being marketed.
Have you ever watched this YouTube channel? Dave's a master at under-the-table junk box diving! Very enjoyable!

I have a hard time leaving without something. I just have a habit of finding interesting things. That said, my favorite treasures are the 'projects' that you sometimes can find in boxes and trays under the tables where the cream of the crop is being marketed.I really do need to hold off though- if things look good for the Springfield MA show in 2023, now's the time to start saving. You just never know what you'll find there, the show is massive. You'll never see it all in one day, probably not even in two.-Ellie
"Unless bought from a known and trusted dealer who can vouch otherwise, assume every train for sale requires servicing before use"
LeverettrailfanAnd not a single one near me!
Check railserve.com and search under "Events." You may have some smaller club shows happening close to you that you may not know about.
Also, check "Raifan & Railroad" magazine's website and look under "Timetable" for show information. Both sites are accurate.
Personally I enjoy the festival atmosphere of train shows even if I don't come home with anything, which happens from time to time.
fifedogFlint - Wished I lived closer, sounds like a dandy.
I wished you lived closer too, I'd have loved to see you there! But, it IS a bit of a haul from the Potomac Highlands to Midlothian so I don't blame you for giving it a pass.
However, we DO have a show in Charlottesville typically in August. We plan on having a C-ville show in 2023 but a date hasn't been determined yet. C-ville's a bit closer for you. This years C-ville show was fantastic, it exceeded all our expectations!
And not a single one near me! I was feeling bummed at first, and then I remembered I'm at my spending quotia for the immediate future. Oh well! Hope everybody has a great time once it's officially "showtime"!-Ellie

Come and join us for the fun!
(Mind you, I'm being conservative when I say "70-plus" tables. Many exhibitors wait until the last minute before reserving tables. We expected around 70 tables for our Charlottesville show in August and ended up renting 105! Will history repeat itself? I can't promise anything but you never know.)
