I've seen a picture of a black flatcar, Lionel Lines, with a green crane designed to life logs. The picture showed only part of the car. The road number wasn't visable and the part number wasn't supplied. I suppose this was a Lionel product, but Williams has issued cars with the Lionel Lines name on them. Anyone know anything about this car?
I don't know anything about log cars but I VERY much doubt Williams put out anything with the Lionel name on it, unless they were producing the cars under license. Usually Williams used the name "Luxury Lines" on imitation Lionel cars and engines, the cars being passenger cars and the engines being Hudsons or Berkshires to go with the cars.
Using the Lionel name without arrangement will get you in BIG trouble.

That is prewar Lionel. Williams made excellent reproductions of Lionel but they use the name Luxury Lines as not to infrindge on the Lionel copywright.
