Scrubbing with isopropyl alcohol will remove the sticky coating entirely and leave the rubber looking like new. (This is a well-known issue with the CAB-2 and a well-known solution.)

Definitely +1 on this.  It won't feel like rubber anymore, but it will be clean and smooth.

Need to have some some patience, it will take a little while and probably a fair number of paper towels (and maybe a few toothpicks for along the crevice along the side) to finish the job, but the end result is excellent.

1. Is there a fix for the tacky, melting rubber on the 990  legacy controller?

2. Can tmcc be installed in Williams Super Streets vehicles?

I do not know what you mean by " tacky, melting rubber" to my understanding though unless it has changed the legacy units are still under warranty.

as to putting tmcc into super street vehicles, it all depends on how much room you have inside, I do not know as I have never owned one.
