I found two connectors in the Mouser catalog that you could adapt, 587-306-50-101 and 587-306-52-101. They are 10-contact connectors, which you could use with the 8-pin Tortoise board. You could stuff something in the last 2 positions to prevent a wrong connection. They have respectively solder eyelets and solder tails on the back, and each costs $1.77.

This connector is called a single-sided .156-inch (for the pin pitch) edge-card connector. There is a Molex part, 09-01-7081, but Mouser for one does not carry it.

many years ago a company in Canada made these for switch machines made by Mann Made
