I wish I knew what happened to it. I have some pics around here somewhere that show it on Christmas morning under the tree. It was a ladder truck with a separate cab and I think a tiller seat on the back. We also had a really big bucket rig that could squirt water through the cannon on the bucket.
One of these days I'll get into collecting bigger metal toys. I still have the smaller "standard" size Tonka pumper and ladder truck that I restored a few years back.

We still have some of my dad's old Tonka trucks... they're fantastic. We have a big 'ol fire engine with an extendable ladder (though it's somewhat broken) and a red pickup truck. There's also a few smaller ones. They're in the attic right now, since there's no room for em downstairs. -Ellie

Long gone now, I think Mom and Dad gave it to one of the neighborhood kids once I was out of the house. No biggie, I don't mind.
Now Lady Firestorm and her brothers and sisters were BIG Tonka fans, but not her youngest brother who had them! She tells a story of her little brother out in the backyard sitting around bored with the Tonka construction toys and the older kids, including herself, taking 'em over and getting to work!
I still have my Remco "Johnny Reb Cannon" though! Still works too!

Remco made great toys like the Fighting lady , Barracuda sub and Monkey Division helicopters.
Remco also made a toy bazooka that used the same mechanism as the Johnny Reb cannon. I didn't have one but a friend of mine did, that thing was a gas!
