Z-Stuff crossing gate issue

Hi all,

I'm working with a set of DZ1010 crossing gates from Z-stuff.  In testing, the bell rings and lights flash continually, and the arms won't go down and the red LED indicator lights won't go off no matter how I place the two signal units.  I've tried it with and without the two dwarf signals, same results....what could I be missing? I've been over and over the instructions.  Not much room for error there.  Could it be a bad sensor maybe?  These units are new out of the box.  Any help / ideas / clues appreciated!
