I take it you want to stop a train and have it wait until another train clears a block?

The old school way to do this is with isolated outer rails. You can set up a block with dead outer rails. Feed the outer rails with power from an isulated acessory activation track that the other train runs through. The locomotive hits the dead track and stops when the other train gets to the activation track the stopped train will start moving again. Rinse and repeat. There is probably a diagriam of this out on the internet somwhere. Lionel used to have a print of this setup many years ago.

Getting back into the hobby. On my layout I want to run 2 trains on teh same track. I am currently using the 153C contactor and it is a pain to keep adjusted correctly to control my Insulated block.  I remember on an old layour I had using an insluated block to control the insulated stop block instead of the 153 but can't remeber how to wire it.  I have searcehd online and can only find diagrams on using relays - which I don't want to do.

Any help is greatly appreciated
