DJSpanky

Okay, people are still having trouble with this.

You need to look at the embedded code - for mine, it changed what I pasted in there to http://.

I should have mentioned, that this happened to me too. I did exactly what Spanky describes- inspected the source, and added in the "s". Only took a couple seconds to do, it wasn't hard to find what I was looking for.

Interesting- the last part of that, is exactly what I have in my source (give or take URL and dimensions), but it won't show up.
I attempted to duplicate what you have in your post here, but I'm getting nothing:

video embed trouble shooting

This is really bugging me- I was given instructions in another post on how to embed a Youtube video in a forum post- and it worked for his post. But I did the exact same thing he did and it doesn't give me a video.

I checked again now, and his successful posting of the youtube video is gone from his reply. It used to be there, now just an empty white space in the post. Does anyone know what's up here? I copied the URL for a video, pasted it into the "source" field after using the "insert/edit video" tool, but when I hit "okay" it just gives me a greyed out rectangle instead of my video. If I let it post, it just shows up as empty white space in the post.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

-Ellie
