Just an FYI; I have a Williams GG1 that the front truck was not working. Hearing the problem getting Williams parts or repairs, I was going to put it on the shelf. It is at least one year old.

Did some research and found the Bachmann website. The repair site was listed there. Called them and they said no problem, send it to us.

I did, about 3 weeks later, it was on its way back to me repaired!

All repairs are done for $79.00 including return shipping. The engine is gone over, repaired, and tested. Any other problems are also repaired.

Bachmann phone is 800-356-3910.

Website is: www.bachmanntrains.com

Repair email is service@bachmanntrains.com

Address is: Bachmann Industries, 1400 E Erie Ave, PHL,PA 19124

Hope this is helpful to Williams owners.

I had 2 Bachmann N Scale engines (My beautiful fiancee Jenni loves her N and Z scale) and I sent them both in.  1 will be repaired and shipped back for $65 and the other is so old, it cannot be repaired.  They will exchange it for a NEW engine for $35 shipped.  So, we get both repaired/replaced and running shipped back to us.

So that said, I will be taking another look at the Bachmann/Williams line up.  With Service and Parts like that, you can't argue.  Too bad they aren't taking walk ups, I'd run right down there....
