Chris: Thanks for the informative response. You're correct on the dwrailment performance but only when I try and use the anti derailment feature. And I thought it was the fault of my engine.

Lionel parts supplement 29 shows the lantern with lenses as P/N 612-3010-319. If you meant the bulb, that's 612-3011-311. Most Lionel dealers should have them. If you can't find them at a dealer, Lionel sells them direct ($1.80 each for the lanterns, $.60 each for the lamps).

I would be remiss if I didn't mention that your switches are notorious for poor operation (derailments) - that's why Lionel discontinued them after only 5 years in the product line. I only hope your switches haven't been giving you these problems!

Can anyone tell me where I can purchase some lanterns for my Lionel track switches, #'s 612-3010 & 612-3011.
