  1. One of the best looking (ACCESSORIES) included in the Lionel Celebration (SERIES) is the No. 437 (11-90122) (SWITCH) Tower in orange, (CREAM) and blue.
  2. (FOUR) different color variations of the Commodore (VANDERBILT), including the No. 279E (11-6016) Blue (STREAK) with a (WAFFLE)-top tender, and the No. 264E (11-6047) Red (COMET), which did not come with (FLYING) Yankee type cars, were cataloged in 2013.
  3. The No. 263E loco led several sets including the “(BABY) Blue Comet” with (BRASS) trim, and L.C.T. first.  Other versions of the 2-4-2 sported (CHESSIE) System (11-6053), (CRESCENT) Limited (11-6054), (TUSCAN) red for the (NORFOLK) & Western (11-6066) and the (ARMOR) yellow of the U.P. (11-6067 between 2013 and 2019.
  4. The striking No. 11-1027 400E loco led the “(GREEN) Comet”, set No. 11-40076, with the option to add an extra coach, the No. 11-40080 (MELISH) and the No. 11-40079 (WOLF) baggage to the original 3 cars.
  5. The 4-4-0 No. 6 got three new personas in 2013; the Nos. 11-1029 NYC (EMPIRE) State express and the 11-1030 and 11-1031 W. & A. R. R. (GENERAL) and (TEXAS) of “Great Locomotive Chase” fame.
  6. In 2014 MTH issued a four page (PAMPHLET) showing (IVES) set Nos. 10-5100, the (NATIONAL) Limited, 10-5105, the “(BONNIE) Blue” and 10-5101, the (CHIEF) plus two (DORFAN) sets, the Nos. 10-5102 in green and 10-5103 in blue.
  7. The No. 400E pulled five sets in 2014 including the Nos. 11-1032 blue (BOY ‘ S), 11-1026 pink (GIRL ‘ S) and crackle red 11-1035 with (FREIGHT) cars available “a la (CARTE)”.
  8. The No 11-1034 in (STATE) brown was more traditional, but the No 11-1033 with “(ROYAL) Blue Line” plates on it’s tender is one of the best looking 4-4-4’s ever made.
  9. For 2015 four new types of 200 series cars were introduced; (COVERED) gondolas, flat cars with (WHEEL) loads, (BAY) window cabooses and covered (HOPPERS).
  10. The (SUPER) 381 returned in 2015 in four color schemes.  The Nos. 11-2039 (PENNSYLVANIA), 11-2040 in state brown, 11-2041 in silver and orange New (HAVEN) stripes and the yellow, gray & red 11-2038 (MILWAUKEE) Road.
  11. Four more great versions of the No. 6 arrived as the Nos. 11-1038 (BALTIMORE) & Ohio, 11-1039 (LONG) Island, 11-1040 (STRASBURG) and 11-1041 Pennsy.  All four could be paired with matching No 18, 19 & 182 (PULLMAN) and observation cars.
  12. Perhaps the biggest surprise in the 2016 catalog was the inclusion of a reproduction of an accessory not originally produced by an (AMERICAN) toy company.  The (M ‘ A ‘ RKLIN) No. 2036B (10-1027) “(LEIPZIG)” Station is magnificent with it’s big square (CLOCK) above the doors, broad terrace and a (PARAPET) on the roof.
  13. Last chance to “Play War”?  The No. 11-6069 U.S. (ARMY) No. 214 Armored (MOTOR) Car Outfit in the tan “Desert (STORM)” scheme will be the final variation in an L.C.T. catalog.
  14. The four each Nos. 390E & 392E versions cataloged in the “final” L.C.T. 2018-19 catalog pale beside the whopping (SIXTEEN) paint schemes being given the 400E.
  15. Among them are the Nos. 11-1068 U.S. (NAVY) Hospital Train, 11-1066 B&O (CINCINNATIAN), 11-1071 (SANTA - FE) with red and yellow stripes, 11-1065 (CHICAGO) & North Western and the 11-1067 (CHESAPEAKE) & Ohio in yellow, blue and gray.
