I concur, they both look good!

But I can see the philosophy on the second layout, sometimes less can be more.

I've always figured the layout is a stage and the trains are the actors.  Good actors can give a good performance even if the stage is bare.

Both layouts look great! Really love the Highway scene on the New layout!

Personally, I find squeezing into a smaller space requires careful thought about what to keep.Actually, it's a good excercise to decide what is most important.

Traindaddy has downsized. Gone are the Plasticville buildings and accessories except for the vehicles.  OLD Layout
