1. The 400E on the cover of the inaugural Lionel Corporation Tinplate catalog in 2009 gave no hint of the (_ _ _ _ _) lurking on pages 24 & 25.  Whether in (_ _ _ _) - chromate as with the No. 11-2009 or in classic (_ _ _ _ _) (_ _ _ _ _) as on the No. 11-2010, the (_ _ _ _ _ _) - motored No. 381SS representation of the Milwaukee Road’s (_ _ - _ _ _ _ _) electric locomotive defies hyperbole.
2. Union Pacific’s “(_ _ _ _ _ _ - _ _ _)”, aka the M-10000 streamliner, gained a (_ _ _ _ _ _ _) car in 2009.  Either the No. 11-80003 in brown and yellow or the No. 11-80002 in (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ) compliment the original prewar sets excellently. This train still looks and runs best on O-72 or “(_ _ _ _ _) Builders Track” just as the Lionel catalog stated in 1934.
3. Making their debut in 2009 were the Nos. 1189 & 1191 (_ _ _ _ _ _) and the No. 1184 (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _) finally scaled up from HO to match Standard Gauge trains.  Still a bit small for housing a gateman though.
4. The Lionel (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _) Series kicked off in 2010 with (_ _ _ _ _ _) locomotives, cars and accessories including a No. 400E (11-1008) and a No. 255E (11-6014).
5. Set No. 755W (11-6017) in (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _) orange and gray was joined by the very patriotic red, white and blue No. 11-6018 (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _) set cataloged for the first time since it was envisioned during the very late prewar era.
6. The “(_ _ _ _) Streak”, set No. 295E, modeled the (_ _ _ _ _ _) Train sponsored by the United Drug Company in 1936.  A No. 265E (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _) Vanderbilt streamlined 2-4-2 locomotive pulled three Flying (_ _ _ _ _ _) cars in set No. 11-6016.
7. The names “(_ _ _ _ _ _)” (also the name of Captain Hawkeye Pierce’s imaginary friend) and “(_ _ _ _ _ _ _)” joined the Blue (_ _ _ _ _) consist as coach Nos. 419 (11-40023) and 1423 (11-40042) in 2010 and 2011 respectively.
8. The Brute’s little brother, the twin - motored (_ _ _ _ _) 381, measured, quote “23 2/4” x 5 1/8” x 6 ¼”” according to the catalog.  And yes, it really did state the loco was 23 and 2/4 inches long.
9. Set No. 11-6020 approximates the Illinois Central’s “Green (_ _ _ _ _ _ _)” using the Union Pacific “City of (_ _ _ _ _ _)” as it’s base.
10. American Flyer produced “(_ _ _ _ _ _)” versions of it’s larger Wide Gauge trains just as Lionel did, however A.F.’s sets were more deluxe than most O Gauge sets.  Two reproduced examples from 2011 would be set Nos. 11-6027 “The (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _)” in red and the 11-6026 (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _) Junior plated with (_ _ _ _ _ _ _).
11. “Play war!”  The No. 214 (Locomotive?  Locotank?) in (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _) gray pulled two (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _) cars in set No. 11-6025.
12. The No. (_ _ _ - _) with a (_ _ _ _ _ _ _) blue boiler (No. 11-1019) and the No. (_ _ _ _ _) in shiny (_ _ _ _ _) (No. 11-1018) recall the show (_ _ _ _ _ _) displays, a role which J. L. Cowen always believed his 1906 locomotives would be great for.
13. Pulled by an American Flyer No. 4696 4-4-2, No. 11-1020), it was possible in 2011 to replicate the “Grand (_ _ _ _ _ _) Freight” set of the 1930’s with one car not in the original set; the No. 11-30088 4018 (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _) Car in white and blue.
14. Not cataloged since 1942, O Gauge (_ _ _ _ _ _) Plots with trees made of rope and hedges of (_ _ _ _ _ _) returned with the Nos. 11-90073 & 11-90072 (_ _ _ _ _ _ _) Estates with No. 191 villas, 11-90077 & 11-90076 plots with bungalows and 11-90075 & 11-90074 (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _) Homes with No. 189 Villas.
15. No. 1071E “Lionel Junior Distant Control (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _)” is a title that didn’t appear in a catalog between 1937 and 2011.  But in 2012 the classic little No. 1700 loco inspired by the Chicago Burlington and Quincy’s (_ _ _ _ _ _) became available in four versions including U.P. (_ _ _ _ _) yellow, the No. 11-6045, and red and (_ _ _ _ _ _) on the No. 11-6042.
16. Sharing pages 30 and 31 were the red No. 11-40072 (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _) - themed set with the car names Academy, West (_ _ _ _ _), Army - Navy) and (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _), and set No. 11-40071, the (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _) Special.
17. The chrome - (_ _ _ _ _ _) No. 11-40065 Lionel Lines 3-car (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _) set bears the names of the 3rd, (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _), 16th, (_ _ _ _ _ _ _) and 32nd, (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _), U.S. Presidents.  The 40th, (_ _ _ _ _ _) AND 1ST, (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _), were honored on separate sale coach and baggage cars.

2. Union Pacific’s “(LITTLE - ZIP)”, aka the M-10000 streamliner, gained a (BAGGAGE) car in 2009.  Either the No. 11-80003 in brown and yellow or the No. 11-80002 in (ALUMINUM) compliment the original prewar sets excellently. This train still looks and runs best on O-72 or “(MODEL) Builders Track” just as the Lionel catalog stated in 1934.
