Love the custom paint job on the milk car and platform. I have the newest version with the Supplee milk car, a lot quieter, but just as smooth to operate.

I grew up in the 1950's in Taylor Michigan and we had a Twin Pines distribution depot nearby.  I repainted my Lionel 3472 Milk Car to match the cream and green look of Twin Pines.  The decals were made on inkjet decal paper.  This was the best job I've done so far repainting and decaling.  Here is a video of the Milk Car in action.

David, the new layout looks great. And the shorter length of those MARX passenger cars makes for a good looking passenger train that doesn't look out of place.

Now I couldn't help but notice the green and yellow Lionel Milk Car (or is it the non-operating reefer car) right behind the MP Alco FA's. Obviously you had to have repainted the roof and car ends in green. But did you decal the sides or did you utilize the same printed sides approach you used for the MARX baggage car?

Marx #547 Express Baggage Car

I have 4 Marx 558 Pullman Passenger Cars and have wanted a 547 Baggage Car at the front to make a complete passenger train.  However the #547 is somewhat rare, difficult to find and reasonably expensive.  I found an alternative by printing out a photo of the Baggage Car and adhering it to the sides of one of the Passenger Cars.
