Well I went out and bought one. One thing I have noticed is when I use the direction button on the CW-80 transformer the whistle and bell sounds start up. Also I haven't heard the break sounds yet.

I just got one. It's a kid's toy and no more than that.

One difference between TrainSounds and RailSounds is that, with TrainSounds, the chugging sound stops whenever you blow the whistle or ring the bell. The chugging returns when those sound are finished.

Thanks for the info. I hadn't realized it is Trainsounds and not Railsounds.

I have one; it looks great but the whistle sounds more like a horn to me. I suppose they can weasel out because it is "Trainsounds" and not the more deluxe Railsounds.
