Nish

I had an electrical problem with track work and it looks like I may have fried something in my loco. it's a Legacy FM Trainmaster 2033441 and it functions normally in conventional but seems to not want to recognize the TMCC signal anymore. It will itermintently link up, go down the track a ways and lose the signal, or not link up at all.  I've checked the layout with another TMCC loco to rule out the control system.

Pretty bummed out cause I love this engine and I'm usually very careful. Should I send it back to Lionel for repair or can I replace a board without too much hassle?

Thanks yall

John

Edited to add that Bluetooth control seems unaffected

Have you tried a complete reset?

Unless there's a local authorized Lionel repair shop in your area you're probably going to have to send it back for repair.

I'd contact Lionel directly to get the particulars.

I've got a Lionel CNJ Trainmaster myself, from 1986.  Conventional, obviously, but a great runner.  Pulls like a Clydesdale!
