I received the LionChief Blue Comet set in the mail today from a dealer. Everything is good, except the tiny lantern light being held by the conductor in the sound car does not light. The conductor's hand is loose, but does not seem to have anything to do with the wiring. It's a little problem, but before returning the car, I was just wondering if anyone knows a quick fix? Is it worth removing the bottom to take a look?

If it's brand-new it's still under warranty so I wouldn't mess with it, especially considering the electronics in the sound car. Who knows how it's put together?
Go in there yourself and you've blown the warranty.
I'd play it safe and return the car.
