2033 grease /oil ports?

There may be an oil port on the motor for the lower bearing, or you will need to take out the armature to physically access and lube the bottom bearings.

Thanks for the info Larry!

That looks like it would get the top the armature shaft where it enters the brush plate, but I was wondering more about the thrust washer area. I know the 2333 has a port on them that you put grease or oil in.

The service manual page for the 2033 loco calls for the 2023-100 motor, shown here.

There is an oil port on the brushplate for the top armature shaft bearing.

 I looked around but couldn't find anything on this. 

Do the motors in the Lionel 2033 vertical motors have any way of lubricating the armature shaft like the larger motors do with the oil / grease port?
