It seems to me that who knows how long ago CTT ran an article on the American Flyer Kleer Pac series of railroad cars. Can anybody help? I have many years worth of CTT magazines. I can't seem to find the article. Now maybe I am confused about if this ever was an article in CTT.

Thanks so very much Roger. I have several years of CTT and was going through back issues and having no luck. However, re-reading some of those older articles was great fun so all was not a waste of time. I really thought that article appeared much earlier than 2016. That will make my search so much easier.

Since the demise of "S Gaugian", we American Flyer collectors/runners now have a big gap to fill for information and interesting articles. To date, CTT has done an adequate job of featuring a few layouts and articles on various AF accessories and rolling stock feature stories. Of course too much is never enugh. In other words, keep up the good work and keep the layout articles coming. To paraphrase your qoute, "there can never be enough Flyer in your magazine". While I have a collection and layout, in my opinion, it is hardly magazine quality.

Before I sent any pictures, I would need to tie up some loose ends of incomplete scenes that I haven't gotten back to. I have a habit of doing scenes, to what at the time, look complete then after a second look, decide some other detail or details are needed. By then I have moved on to something else always meaning to go back and add that other detail(s). I am a modeler whose layout will never be complete because I always want things better or have come up with a differnt way to do a scene. I still say what I have isn't magazine worthy compared to what I have seen published in your magazine. The one thing I will say about my layout is, it was constructed with mostly American Flyer components. The main thing that isn't American Flyer is the K-Line track. I initally bought the K-Line for the broader curves. Then I noticed how shiny the rail head was compared to the AF track. I ended up useing all K-Line for the main line. I bought K-Line back when it was still being made by K-Line. After Lionel took over making that track I found a hobby shop with quite a bit. It was being discounted for close out so I bought it all. One last thing I should mention. I don't have a great deal of American Flyer accessories. That is by design. I bought just certain things that I wanted. Some collectors need everything Gilbert made. I don't.
I've been impressed by the excellent Flyer articles that have been presented in the past few TCA "Quarterly" magazines.
