Yep, bought the Milwaukee from Island Trains during their Fall Fair Days for $39. Great engine for the grandkids. For $39 it is an excellant deal.

Yes, at $39 (or even less, I can't remember), I couldn't pass it up. I have kids and thought this might be a good engine for them to run around. For the price, I like it a lot. It has a reversing unit and couplers that work with the standard uncoupling tracks. It takes off like a rabbit--but the kids love it. So far it's run great, and seems to take abuse well. Not much detail, but this is really an engine for kids and not collectors. I know Just Trains in Delaware has some on their shelves and they will do mail order.

K Line Fall Fair GP-7s?

Hey there! Just checking in, to see if anyone out there purchased one of the K Line GP 7s that were available during Fall Fair Days.

If so, how are they? And, can they still be purchased at one of the dealers that had the Fair Days?
