It's a shame that more multi-millionaires aren't railfans!

I do hope that for that price a Historical Society or Tour Operator picks it up.

What's interesting is that just like the E7 and Alco PA, the F40 at the present time seems like "no big deal". But less than a decade from now, they could be extinct or almost extinct like the PA and E7. (Only one of each is left!)
