Your right it's a cool accessory ,shame not to use it.
It's on my list to buy along with a roundhouse and turntable. Wouldn't mind picking up a bascule bridge why I'm at it.

How are you incorporating into your layout? Is it in an industrial scene or a portside area? how long a consist of bathtub gondolas do you usually run? I am just looking for ideas on how to use mine. It is just to neat an accessory not to use
