I'm always on the lookout for accent pieces to add on the layout. Returning from a train show this winter, the guys wanted to stop at an indoor flea market to check out some tables. Full disclosure:Fifey didn't want to go. I was only in the building 30 seconds, and saw these two Dept 56 items: Dockside Stevedor and On the Boardwalk. They look right at home in my canal boat basin.

The BO&W RR relocated it's headquarters from Rogers Corners, Ohio - Elev. 936 to Jelloway Creek, Ohio - Elev. 1,100. Our new headquarters, unlike our old HQ is well lighted and not cramped for storage.

Postwar Paul - I try my hardest to keep my trackwork away from the layout edges, and the Abington canal pieces (Dept 56/Dickens Village) lend themselves to being great foreqround scenery. I was able to trim the curved sections with an electric tile saw.
