Looks great! Except for that "Lady Lionel..."
These are all Lemax figures in a Christmas display. The trains are O.

Here's the thing, when most people do a Christmas layout the important thing to them is festivity. You know, eye-popping spectacle, lights and action. "Show-biz" really, and as such they really don't obsess over scale all that much. The whole point is fun, not modeling headaches.
So, if you like the Lemax stuff, and think you can use it, go for it!
JonEddy - Lemax figures tend to be too large for O-gauge (as do Dept 56). I place the larger figures between the layout edge and tracks, and then place the smaller figures (depending on height) throughout the interior of my layout.
Scale. There are three popular scales that run on Gauge 1 track.O gauge is popularly used for 1/4" scale and 3/16" scale trains(among a mish-mosh of everything in between).

They are all over the map. Some the figures are way to big, but then others look fine. Just think that correct is 1/4 inch represents 1 foot. So just keep that in mind and decide if it will work for you.

If the Lemax buildings and accessories are anything like Department 56 they may be a bit too small if you're running Standard Gauge. They are close enough to O Gauge so many O-gaugers use them for Christmas and Halloween layouts.
D-56 people are a bit oversize for O Gauge but most people doing holiday layouts use them anyway.
Do these figures and buildings for Christmas and Halloween equate to a particular train gauge or are they to big? They're having some awesome after Christmas sales and want to but some fencing and lamp post to display around my stadard gauge Flyer.
