Upon recent buys last year for originally intended my Lionel 0-27 set I bought a 1034 transformer for christmas display which never happened really to its full extent sadly for me, I was thinking it could be used with Converted HO engines that run on Marklin track I bought at a Hobby shop with swaped out motors and added reverse (E) Units, I am not sure what kind of power 70 watts is but would be appriciated to know in terms of voltage and wheather or not this is possible for use with an HO 4x8 layout
Many Thanks!

You have plenty of power, but the real question is... Are you running open frame universal motors(field & armature series-wound) or Permag(permanant magnet) motors? Both can be controlled by the Lionel E-unit, so we need more information to help.

I can't tell what you've got nor what exactly you want to do with it. Can you be more specific about those two matters?

Safety Valve,
Any additional information would be helpful. Please give more clues to what you have and include information such as, do your HO engines have electrical pick-up shoes between the wheels or somewhere else on the centerline of the engines, does your HO track have bumps in the center of the ties?
