Resources/coming events, which showed upcoming train meets and
shows is missing? Gone for good?
I don't know if it's gone for good, but it's been gone for weeks. Word from a Kalmbach staffer says it's a hassle for them too, a number of on-line features they use for their own research have gone missing.
They're supposed to update the system sometime next year, but when is the question.
If you're looking for upcoming train meets (and I might get in trouble for this) try the "Railfan and Railroad" website and check "Timetables." That's a list of upcoming train meets as well. Usually not as complete as the Kalmbach "Coming Events" list but it's better than nothing.
Yeah, I've had some trouble lately getting the Kalmbach sites to load at all. I suspect it's part of the coming update but maybe not.
Anyhoo. Here in Cleveland there's a great website that lists upcoming shows: http://www.cleveshows.com/. Try googling "train shows (insert home city)" and see if anything comes up. There may be a similar resource in your area.
P.S. I'm planning for the "Snow Dogs" show on Saturday.
Trains, trains, wonderful trains. The more you get, the more you toot!
Thank you both for the info! I will check it out! And Happy New Year!
And the same to you and yours sir!

...to help you make it through.
Well now I can see "Coming Events" but when I try to enter the information for my club's up-coming event it comes up "Page Not Found!"
