Here is the 2019 holiday week open house schedule for the historic Edgerton-PAL-Model Railroad Heaven display as featured in the Bantam Books of the 1950's:

There is a raffle for a portable train layout... Tickets are $1 each or $5 for 7, the drawing for the raffle will be at the end of the open house February 29, 2020 which is extended for 9:30AM through 2:30 PM, layout tour is open and FREE and there will be a train show with items for sale in the ballroom upstairs. Train Show Admission is Adult $5.00, Children under 12 free with paid adult. The raffle will be at the end of the open house.
The Edgerton Model Railroad Club of Rochester is the current operator/curator of the layouts originally built in 1950 by the Police Athletic League Rochester as a civic project to keep kids occupied after school. Located at 41 Backus St. the layouts are ordinarily open to the public the last Saturday of each month year round but have been open for extended holiday hours for many years now. Admission is free, there is a cookie reception, and donations are always welcomed.
